Jacques Tati originally wrote the script for The Illusionist. It was a love letter from a father to his first daughter, but never got produced. Sylvain Chomet, director of The Triplets of Belleville / Les Triplettes de Belleville, adapted the script and once again used his own original animated style.

My Neighbor Totoro (Japanese: となりのトトロ Hepburn: Tonari no Totoro?) is a 1988 Japanese animated fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli. The film – which stars the voice actors Noriko Hidaka, Chika Sakamoto, and Hitoshi Takagi
– tells the story of the two young daughters (Satsuki and Mei) of a
professor and their interactions with friendly wood spirits in postwar rural Japan. The film won the Animage Anime Grand Prix prize and the Mainichi Film Award for Best Film in 1988.
Heidi is a Swiss work of fiction, originally published in two parts as Heidi’s years of learning and travel / Heidis Lehr- und Wanderjahre and Heidi makes use of what she has learned /Heidi kann brauchen, was es gelernt hat.

animated series in several countries around the world. The only
incarnation of the Japanese-produced animated TV series to reach the
English language was a dubbed feature-length compilation movie using the
most pivotal episodes of the television series, released on video in
the United States in 1985.
